The easiest to use Google maps plugin! Create a custom Google map with high quality markers containing categories, descriptions, images and links.
Crap! No much options like zoom level in free version. Also the developer sell this kind of craps for money. You need to pay to get pro version. When there are already 100s of free plugins which are better, this guy lives 100 years back.
Only care about making you upgrade to the premium version.
You don't even get a chance to do anything with the free version to really see if this plugin is what you're after.
Free version only lets you create one map with one default marker. You can't do anything else at all in it.
All wrong from the developers. Should give us a taste of what this plugin can benefit to our sites. It fails to do that and subsequently will lose a lot of potential upgrades to their pro version.
All these map guys seem to want to make a killing with your PRO versions....limited functionality with the free version. I would not recommend.
The provided description of the plugin only applies to the PRO version of the plugin. The free version is almost useless compared to the other free google maps plugins. more than half of the options are a teaser for the PRO version.
In my opinion it should be excluded from the repository unless the author changes the description to match what the free version offers.
This plugin is all about making you upgrade.
You can basically do the same stuff for free on Google maps without the free plugin.
All the cool stuff like adding a logo etc is on the Premium Version ONLY!
No maps can be created in the free version. Do you really expect people to pay for it without testing?
We bought the plugin. GOLD VERSION. But it does not seem to work. Generates error and conflicts and does not show map in admin and site.
Email to Support, another mail... waiting 5 days and nothing. (GOLD VERSION INCLUDE SUPPORT...)
How can I define them?
Absolutely the worst service I have seen. Totally not recommended.
Updated version of previous post as the Review Title was too negative - that was the start - In the end I got it going.
WP Google Maps 5.14.
Installed plugin, it displayed settings, but wouldn't display the maps page (where I presume we would add a new map).
Deactivated - and activated - no go.
downloaded & installed, activated again.
Maps at page=wp-google-maps-menu - won't display.
Update WP from 3.4.2 to 3.5.2
YAH!!! finally displays maps page
Solution was to update WordPress in this installation.
(the installation was a test site - which was not updated to latest WP ver.)
Hope this might help someone else having trouble.
Doesn't work. Only an ad for the paid version. Searching through support shows everyone seems to have the same issue. Complete waste of time.
