The easiest to use Google maps plugin! Create a custom Google map with high quality markers containing categories, descriptions, images and links.
I use the PRO version. It's great, easy, also the support! Thanks!
I downloaded this plugin a while ago to give one of my clients an easy to use maps option to display various walking tours they were hosting. I was amazed by its user friendliness and have started using it on various other projects. I also do recommend getting the Pro version and Gold add-on because it does add a lot of extra styling options you don't get with the free version.
The support team is very quick and helpful. I had some styling issues which I was't able to figure out myself, and they got the job done quick as a flash.
I bought the Pro version of this plugin on a recommendation from a friend/developer. It's working great! As with anything new, you have to figure a few things out, which I've been doing on the fly. However, when I've had questions, I submitted them and got a reply within 24 hours, except for weekends, when it took a little longer (I don't begrudge anyone a weekend off!). I'm working on outlining my state using the Polylines feature, and it too is working great, although it's a little time consuming. At first I entered my data manually, but then downloaded it so I could manipulate it via Google Docs, as recommended, doing global search/replace feature to add
and other HTML tags. I then uploaded the data via the edited csv file and it's working well. I also was able to resize the info boxes so all my info fits so it stands out. I am very happy with this tool and highly recommend it.
It's very bugged.
Unfortunately I paid for the Pro version (plus Gold Add-on) but both products are bugged like hell. If you add Categories to map markers and then try to filter the markers using these categories, everything brakes (filters aren't working, all markers are shown even if you zoom out , etc, etc). Cluster markers on the Gold add-on are just a php file and there is no setup that can be done on the backend (you can't setup the level of zoom when the markers are clustered, the cluster icon, etc).
I've sent an email and posted on their forums and I didn't get a reply on my request nor my post on the forum was approved until I placed a hold on the payments on PP. That happened with 3 days delay (not the QUICK support that they advertise on their plugin page).
I asked for the money back (since the product is bugged and their support is pathetic) but, guess what, again, no reply for 2 days and no money back. I'll have to escalate the hold with paypal and hope I wouldn't have wasted money on these crap plugins.
Stay away if you read this. Don't waste your time and money with the pro version. There are a lot of other better mapping plugins out there!
Using the Pro version. Had a recent issue and the plugin authors worked with me to solve it. Very good support!
I ve bought the pro version. It works very well. I used the store location function with personal makers. And the support is excellent. They help me for different questions. Thanks for on of my favorits plugin !
Extremely option-rich by default, works fantastic.
this plugin is a huge lie. You start testing, prepare your map and then realise that's all you can do. You can have a map with as many markers as you want in ONE SINGLE MAP. In the end it was better for me to just insert the mapS directly from google maps. This plugin made me lose more time than the one that it could have saved me.
I have no problem with the idea of a light and a pro version.
But this light version is just way too light, meaning I cannot even really check if I like the plugin and consider buying the pro-version.
I'd rather just paste the normal google iframe.
Tried it, didn't like that anything that is slightly interesting needs the pro version, deactivated, deleted, bye bye.
Both the Plugin and the support is outstanding, fast respond great feedback and sincere will to help you in the best way.
