testing via 4.2-beta3
1st time testing! hope this plugin awesome! no more JS Composer...lol
No more faux wysiwyg… real wyiswyg!
I LOVE this plugin. This is one of the ultimate user experiences for writers. It goes one step beyond the customizer and allows you to have a true WYSIWYG experience. I want to believe in a world where writers can post on the front end, and developers/site configures can utilize robust features of the admin to customize and configure the site.
Try it out and support its development!! :)
Please keep up the great work!
After a long time of waiting a great breakthrough : Full WYSIWYG rich text / media functionality in the frontend. I'm really excited . A great contribution to the community .
Works great out-of-the-box in WordPress 4.1. Nice job. Looking forward to future releases
Works just fine, while everybody else is complaining about where to find the settings of this plugin. Just experience the great features (while logged in) and being in the front-end of the site. Select 'edit post' and see what it can do.
Installed it on 4.1 and other than saying plugin installed successfully, there was no other evidence that it exists. No setting I could see in control panel, and no new functionality on home page of site. Forum doesn't seem to have any recent responses. I thought this was the next big thing. Abandonware?
This could be a very useful tool but currently it seems to work in HTML editing mode rather than WordPress editing. If a page you edit has content that comes from, say a shopping cart plugin with a short code like:
[ mycart:id:1:end ]
the editor replaces that short code with the generated HTML content. This breaks the function of the other plugin. As it is, this plugin is off limits on my sites.
I guess everybody will need this editor to make working with wp more effective. Another aspect is that especialy people that are not used to work with backends will be lucky that they dont need to switch between front end Backend. less is more. I've seen older version of this plugin as well and I guess You are on the right way. Less options more clearity...
