Embed Google Maps in pages and posts, either by centre coordinates or street address, or by URL to a Google Earth KML file.
Great support and plugin features gives this a 5 stars.
Works well inside Tabby Responsive Tabs where other map plugins are unable to render the map correctly.
The plugin works great and a nice documentation (information and examples)!
If like me, who doesn't know any code - in terms of quickly and easily setting up a map for your site, then this one is for you.
Much more than most people will need, and without the clutter.
Thank you to the developers, 5 stars richly deserved!
I needed to display a Congressional District map for a client using a kml file. I found this plugin and it works great! I'm able to display the Congressional District map in a page, and in the footer.
Does the job perfectly!!!
This is the one
I tried 3 others and they were all clunky to use. This one uses simple and easy tags to get the results I wanted.
Prior to downloading this plugin I tried about 5 different Google map plugins and this was the best. It's simple and straightforward, which is what I needed, but best of all it was free. Before coming to this conclusion I downloaded several other plugins that claimed to be free, however they had limited mapping features and ultimately wanted me to spend $19.95 or more for their "pro" version. The bait and switch was really disheartening. This plugin is free and rocks! Try this one first.
Very flexible plugin with shortcode full of options. I've been using it for a couple of years, and it's been very solid. I use the shortcode accessing a kml file, several different maps on the same page. It handles this great.
Recently there was a bug introduced in a new version (the first I've ever found in this plugin) - it was fixed and a new version available within an hour from when I reported it!
Highly recommend this if you're looking for anything more than a simple address map (although it can do that too!).
This plugin is a God send. I will be buying you a few ciders, Sir, come the new year. Thanks also for allowing me to contribute language strings.
