Great Plugin, but Support and updates non-existant
By , for WP 4.2.4

Having paid $59 for a pro version, I expect some real support. Obviously the developer is out of business, since he does not respond to various help requests (not just from me, from anybody).

No responses on his support board, and a lot of people are complaining.

It is a shame, it is a very good plugin, but at this point I cannot recommend using it, since it will eventually break due to Word Press upgrades, and not be updated.

It's a mess
By ,

Paths hardcoded and the code is a mess.
The plugin is not usable in a Bedrock or custom WP environment, eg composer based.

not bad
By , for WP 4.0.1

it doesn't work perfectly, but is not bad.
soooo bad support service, they didn't replay and they didn't solve any problem.

Works, up to a limit

I have used this plugin on two sites, and at first been satisfied. But when I wanted to extend it I ran into problems.

I bought the Pro version, which solved some issues, but not all, and had some bugs. I posted to the pro support forums. No reply from the author after four months. So, no support, even for the Pro version

Categories are not implemented as taxonomies and Files are not a custom post type, meaning that we cannot use the standard WordPress methods to build custom functionality.

Buggy, no support
By , for WP 3.8.1

At first this was working well and it wasn't too hard to customize the file display. Worked around a few quirks or bugs.

I don't know if it's because I added SSL to my site, or if it's not working with the latest WP version (3.8.1), but now I am unable add any files either via upload or link.

Support requests on the author's site (and here) go unanswered, and based on other reviews here, if you pay for the Pro version, you don't get support then either. I would like to hear if anyone has gotten better support after paying.

Buggy, support lacking.
By , for WP 3.7.1

Though the upgrade price seems fair, it will cost much more when clients get tired of the repetitive refrain of "I'm waiting for the plugin dev to answer my questions". After patiently waiting for a reply for basic questions, I will have to consider a similar solution and use WordPress' own file handling functions.
