I got some issue with the plugin, and the developer helped me within a few mins of emailing him.
Great plugin, works fine
I've been using wp fastest cache since a couple months now and this is the easiest cache plugin to use and the performance is incredible!
I had a small redirection issue caused by this plugin on HTTPS, I contacted the support and they replied and fixed my issue really quickly and I only have the free version! Their support is really outstanding.
I recommend this plugin to everyone running a wordpress website !
I've tried W3 Total Cache and many other plugins but this is definitely the fastest one as they said!!
My homepage shows under 1 second!!!
The best result ever!
Wishing all the best to the developer who made this great plugin.
Plugin works very well but some people try to hide what plugins they are using and this plugin puts a comment like <!-- WP Fastest Cache file was created in 3.916934967041 seconds, on 24-06-16 0:41:45 --><!-- via php --> at the end of your index file and the whole world knows it.
I have tried almost every cache plugin for WordPress and found most of them buggy or overly complicated. I decided to try WP Fastest Cache and was not expecting much, but I've since purchased a premium licence and could not recommend it enough.
The free version is great, however, the premium version does add a few minify options that make a difference - especially for mobile users. The CDN integration is flawless - it just works. I've never set-up a CDN with WordPress before but this took less than five minutes with MaxCDN.
Support is also superb. I've emailed the author a few times - each time recieving a reply within an hour or so. I recently had an issue after an upgrade and the author used Team Viewer to correct (and explain) the problem.
If you've tried other cache plugins and not experienced much improvement - or find them too complicated/buggy - I strongly suggest you give the free version a go and see what you think.
I also tested with Pingdom's tools. Before the plugin, the speed was around 7 seconds on a visually busy website (Paris (origin) to New York). After installation this dropped to 1.2 seconds. From Paris to Sweden the time was reduced to ~700 ms.
The minify options did nothing -- got exactly the same HTML back. (NB. I do have WP CRON disabled and am using OS cron instead -- wonder if this is relevant here.)
Nevertheless, in order to clear the cache, you need to buy the pro version. Personally, I think it's OK to have pro version with additional features, but if a free version is offered, it should be useful.
Additionally, this plugin left its options behind in the DB when I removed it. I really hate that.
Personally, I've found setting the setting the right parameters in htaccess and "define( 'WP_CACHE', true );" in wp-config do a pretty decent job without the need for any plugin.
After finding out that there was a security issue as reported by wordfence and that the plugin was taken off of wordpress.org and their website I was a bit dismayed, however after emailing the developer I got a prompt response and notice that it is back. This is a great plugin and it just works as described.
I compared w3 total cache, wp rocket cache, and this plugin. WP Fastest cache beat them all. Really love the plugin. Went ahead and got the premium version. I didn't see much of a speed improvement with the premium version. But was happy to support the author.
It works like a charm. Thanks to the developer for this great plugin.
