Use your email address instead of a username to log into your WordPress.
Sites everywhere allow for a username or email to be used. Everyone knows this from places like Facebook. So WordPress sites that don't allow an email address login are confusing to end users.
This plugin fixes the issue. Can't live without it!
Tested with WP 4.1, BuddyPress 2.1.1, Login Security Solution 0.50.0
One of the most simple but gratifying plugins. This should be the standard WP behaviour. Thank you plugin authors!
I'm really not sure why this hasn't been implemented in core yet, but this is critical WordPress kit.
thanks a lot
i have project so ,,
i need to login with National_Identity instead of a username or email can you help me , i try a lot to change your code form email to National_Identity but i have problem
This plugin works flawlessly on a site I run that uses S2Member. After activating the plugin, users are now able to login with either their existing username, or their email address. This is great, as it doesn't break the login functionality that existing users are used to.
Installation is a breeze (it's a one-click install from the wp-admin Plugins screen), and there are no config options - just install and activate to get users logging in using either email addresses or passwords.
Tested w/ BP 1.9.1
Buen plugin. Trabaja bien en la versión 3.8
For all my sites :)
