This is a fabulous plugin. I have used it many times successfully. Please be careful & get a great backup of your site before attempting to use this plugin - as the developer has said, it fails in about 10-20% of installs. But when it works, it's a huge time saver, and very simple to use. LOVE it.
So easy to use! Thanks!
This plugin has saved me HOURS of work. It is so fast and reliable, works perfectly. Wow, thank you for creating this tool, hats off to you sir! :D
Excellent. Does precisely as advertised. Duplicated a site with hundreds of posts, images, WooCommerce products, theme settings, etc. without a hitch. THANKS!
Duplicate your site to your dev-install and test all plugins and updates with the uptodate content. This rocks!
This was the easiest time I've ever had relocating a WP site. Only a couple broken images, most were ok. The only issue I had was my server setup wouldn't allow restoring with a file not owned or located at the new account. All I had to do was copy the restore zip file to the new account and point WP-Clone to the local copy. Within seconds I had a completely cloned working site! Thank you!!!
I had to move a massive site (3GB) with plugins, custom template etc - worked like magic.
Not sure why people are complaining, more than likely the cause of the time outs is your shitty host. After using this plugin on a Godaddy machine, it failed the first backup and restoral but worked the 2nd time.
Thanks for making this! Much easier to than Duplicator
Thanks for this awesome backup plugin, it makes it a cinch to migrate a staging environment to production. I use Dreamhost so I didn't experience any issues!
Hey. Love this plugin but I ran across an instance it didn't work. Here are the errors I got:
Warning: mysql_fetch_array() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /***Hidden**Directories**/plugins/wp-clone-by-wp-academy/lib/functions.php on line 245
The plugin encountered an error while cloning the database, the following error message was returned:
Error Message : MySQL server has gone away
It might be an issue on my end though since it has to do with the mySQL server...
