Moving a WPSite has never Been Easier
By , for WP 4.5.1

I have used this plugin a lot when moving site(s) to other hosting companies or making a back up. Super easy to use. I first create a temp sup-domain on a different hosting site, add a WP installation, and this plugin. I then make a WP Clone Backup on primary site - then copy URL and then paste on other secondary WP Clone site! Wow! Done in minutes. I then repeat the process to the new hosting account. Flawless! No issues, no lost time etc.

Mind = Blown

Wow. That was easy. I struggled for days wondering how I was going to move my site to another domain name, then I finally decided to try this plugin.

site 1) Instal, activate, backup, copy link
site 2) Instal, activate, paste link, done!

Then I click "save" on my permalinks under settings and it was done! My mind is still spinning on how easy it was. I was really stressing before hand, but it was just too easy. ;-)

I hope it works for every else as much as it worked for me.

too many work-arounds are needed
By , for WP 4.5.1

okay....

using this was supposed to be simple. while i know that nothing is simple, this is ridiculous. i have been at this for 2 hours trying to make it work with all of the work arounds listed on the web.

hell, there's not even a confirmation that it's even restoring...when you finally are able to get to this point.

say's that it will take a few minutes...hit ok...then it doesn't even give you a 1990's spinning hour glass to show you it's actually working.

how about the 500 errors....ridiculous!

how about the multiple fails....ridiculous.

why offer a plugin that requires someone to try so many work arounds????? to not have it work.

bad product

This is the most useful plugin I have ever obtained. I can't praise it enough for its simplicity of use and its effectiveness. Absolutely wonderful so far in everything I have used it for and, frankly, I can't imagine what I would do without it now.

Hat's off to the creators - you've done a fantastic job!

I updated a site to WP 4.5 yesterday and update all of its plugin (8 total). Then I ran WP-Clone on the site and moved the site to a different URL and it all ran perfectly.

I tried WPTwin before I tried WPClone and though the former didn't do a great job, WP Clone did. Many thanks!

You saved me a lot of work!!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS GREAT PLUGIN!!
I tried so many different things to restore my vast website to another server and wasted many hours pulling my hair out, until rather sceptical, I tried your plugin which worked wonders in less than 5 minutes. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! (I was getting seriously worried actually!!) “Champagne !” as we would say in French and a pity I didn’t start the day with your plugin!!!

Add This Plugin to Every Site You Build

I love how effectively and consistently WP Clone works. This was my first WordPress site for a client, and I researched backup and migration plugins extensively. WP Clone stands head and shoulders above them.

In addition to flawless migrations, it also serves as the best backup tool I could find. Many backup plugins do not copy ALL files and data required for your site to be fully restored. WP Clone does.

I have done over 100 backups and restores, and never once did I have a WP Clone problem.

This plugin should be a part of every WordPress developer's toolkit.
