WP Catalogue - the best way to display your digital product catalogue.
If your PHP is set to display E_NOTICE, you'll get several alerts on undefined variables and indexes. It seems to me that the developer needs to run this plugin on a server with these settings on, so that he can fix all these occurrences.
Also, the template pages use the obsolete get_bloginfo('siteurl') instead of get_site_url(). This is also something that becomes apparent when displaying E_NOTICEs.
To conclude, this plugin does not play nice with the Roots theme, I think because of the fishy use of template_redirect: https://markjaquith.wordpress.com/2014/02/19/template_redirect-is-not-for-loading-templates/
Recurrent problem with permalinks and does not always solve .
problem with the graphical integration .
I regret buying
I have used this plugin and I have to say it really is a bit bad programming so I had to resort to modify many parts of your code.
Ex. option pagination plugin modifies the default paging option that comes in wordpress which is really bad.
Always the categories are displayed regardless of whether or not products.
For every little thing the plugin always used get_option(), which increases in a huge way the number of queries to the database, I recommend you use the plugin "developer" and activate the "debug mode".
do not use get_option() to call the "Inner Template" instead uses do_action( 'wpc_inner_template' ) you better come.
Other than that I consider very good idea but will improve the code and logic I think it would be much better. Sorry to give such a low score Thanks.
The plugin doesn't work with ver. 3.6
The catalog page renders fine, but I use WordPress so I don't have to edit code to make the internal catalog pages work. They don't work. I get a 404 page error. So, to me it is useless!Especially if I'm going to turn it over to the client to do the work.
There. So I reset the permalinks and nothing. Everybody feels it's a great plugin. My idea of a great plugin is one that doesn't require me to do any coding. So take my review as one that is out of sych with all the rest, but one, who keeps hearing the words, "No Coding Necessary!"
If I wanted to code, I'd be writing xhtml, but the intention is to tyrn a working product over to a client quickly and easily and know THEY can handle the work.
