website broke on update.

Ended up having to remove the plugin since the website broke as a result of a flaw in the most recent update.

Fatal Error

Getting the fatal error

Broke my site
By ,

But hey I learned how to ftp into my site and disable a plugin.

I won't reinstall. Embarrassing to get an email from someone I work with that my website displays a fatal error. Tried to fix. No way to access dashboard. Never again. Downloaded 2 weeks ago.

Sorry, even before I added IP addresses it banned me!
By , for WP 4.0

Imagine my surprise when I activated the program and was immediately banned from my dashboard and even when I tried to access the site via a bookmark.

I went to my hosting site, file manager and deleted the plug in. Deleted me Internet History and re-booted. Still locked out. Had to get the hosting site to fix things. I would think this is a BIG flaw. I don't see the high stars on this one, though I did like the idea of doing a global ban such as 27.159.*.* And BTW my own IP address is nothing like that. So why did activating this sucker (without putting in info.) give me a blank webpage ... "You are banned."

Good idea, needs work. Most hosting sites also have there own IP denial programs but are a bit more tedious and time consuming. Akimset certainly is NOT stopping this traffic as I had to delete some 40 just today. That said it does not lock me out of my own site as WP-ban does.

Doesn't work at all

I wanted to block a couple of referral sites. Following all the instructions resulted in them still showing up. Ended up having to do it with .htacess
