First of all, it has been a long time since I have been a full-time developer so some of the previous, more detailed comments regarding code quality and security holes are a bit lost on me currently.
What I am though, is an agency owner looking to broaden my client product offering in as streamlined manner as possible (ie, not hand-coding all of the tools that my clients are looking for).
This tool does just that. It is flexible enough so that I can take my models and architecture and plug them into their infrastructure and with some more tweaks I have a product that I can offer my clients.
Have their been bumps along the way? Of course there have been. But, with a product of this scale, wouldn't you expect some. I need to emphasize, though, that when I do encounter said bumps, the support they provide is fantastic. Furthermore, when I have encountered gaps in functionality that they offer and what I require, I soon find out that they have similar items already included in their roadmap.
In short, this plugin does what it says it does.
Great for my WordPress
İt is open source and very helpfull for me.Great plug in
Respect for their works.
Easy to use plugin, and great support. I have requested a new feature and they have implemented in a week. Thanks for the speedy response.
Great plugin, I started using this for one of my client's web site, I generated their forms using Bootstrap option and they look great. I look forward to using this more! Thanks , keep up the good work :)
You guys know how a SaaS service works right? This plugin interacts with a SaaS service. That in and of itself doesn't make it malicious.
I haven't used or looked at the plugin, but the mere fact that it transmits and receives data to a 3rd party service as part of the functionality it provides does not make it malicious.
The plugin itself states that it's a SaaS solution. It interacts with a SaaS service to provide the functionality it provides.
Long story short: Don't spread hyperbole unless you know 100% that the intent is malicious.
Franz Josef Kaiser, "Reviewing a plugin with 1 star without having it in use or inspecting the code is worth nothing." That's what you did.
You did not review the code it generated. Just looked at the dummy front end and labeled it malicious.
First of all it is SaaS service and the plugin is a dummy front end. it is a collection of forms. Its only purpose is to send app data to the SaaS service which generates pure WP API code. It is not the only plugin functioning as SaaS frontend in the repository. We believe it is a game changer. It simplifies so many things.
How do I know? Our company have been using it for 6 months for our clients. For your knowledge we also employ security experts who check every code we sent to our clients.
Secondly, Wp App Studio is an open source plugin, if you like to improve the code, post your code and ask them to review it. But don't write BS here with some knowledge you had.
Have something to say, share your "immense" knowledge with us and give specifics so that they can fix in the next release.
Long story short: It is open source, man. Being a hater helps no one.
