At first I was impressed. It's easy to set up new tooltips, format their overall appearance and so on. I decided to buy the pro version as I wanted more control.
The trouble these days is that there are SO many combinations of screen size and operating system that you need to be able to ensure that a tooltip that appears in the right place (or even is simply visible) on one system will be on all systems. There are several options to achieve this - centering on a window, centering on the screen, fixing centre-top and so on.
Sadly, this plugin doesn't provide this kind of basic optimisation. Consequently, I set it up and struggled to get it to display the full tooltip on my own system, and then the friends that I was developing the site for kept finding examples (Smartphone, iPad, Android tablet etc etc) where most of the text was not displayed.
I approached the author through his support system, and was given a few ideas, but not in sufficient detail for me to follow them. Then he started offering to do it for me at a price.
So, sorry - if you only want the basic tool and have very small tooltips then this might work for you. But if you have larger tips and want your viewers to actually see them, then I'd look elsewhere.
