At first sight the plugin looked very promising. But for a match you have to put into the glossary the exact wording. But in German we have many different endings and inflections. So it does not work for me.
My biggest issue with this plugin is that it adds a tooltip to every image on the site using its ALT tag... Even if they are not specified as tooltips. This issue makes the plugin completely unusable for me because of this.
I agree with Eddie G. There are two major drawbacks to this plugin. First, there appears to be no way to target the plugin to dot underline only the phrases you want [e.g. using
a tooltip will show here] . Second although you can create elaborate tooltips with links - there is no way in the free version that users can press those links unless they use a mouse and stylus in Windows 8. Too many major gotchas, stay away from the frustrations.
I was willing to spend some time massaging this until I noticed that it duplicates every tooltip on the site, showing both the standard browser tooltip and the plugin tooltip at the same time. It does this with every tooltip, not just the ones that are associated with keywords. This behavior is present in FF v18.0 and Chrome v24. There I stopped testing. Too bad.
