WordPress Social Ring adds sharing buttons for Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, LinkedIn and StumbleUpon.
Developer @fabio.gioria added a spam 9 months ago in this plugin in the changeset
It used to be a good plugin for a long time. Now they add ads to your site.
Really sad that the plugin creator had to add a hardcoded spam link into this plugin.
$html .= '<img src="http://i.imgur.com/hKU0wZd.png" /></div>';
$html .= '<!-- Social Ring Buttons End -->'."\n";
You can edit library.php and remove the lines above to get rid of it!
As of the latest update this plugin includes a spam link. No way to remove it.
I came here because of I've found SPAM links in my all websites.
I've just noticed the link to "SumoMe" appeared to all of my page.
I've try to disable this SPAM link but no way/options to remove it, except I've to edit the code.
I can confirm this is a SPAM behavior, There is No option to disable it in GUI.
Now, Just removed this plugin from all of my sites. And I will tell all of my friends to check their websites too.
If the developer want to stay in this wordpress's society, REMOVE this SPAM and update right now. So some ex-users may decides to re-install your plugin again.
DO NOT EVER SPAM to your users.
after installation the plugin put a link to another web site on the web site where is installed the plugin
You added a spam link sorry but i dont like a spam on my pages.

I installed this plugin last spring. I selected all Visible Buttons, except StumbleUpon, but starting May 2014 it started showing only 3 things:
1. Facebook Share
3. Print, PDF, Email
What was missing:
1. Facebook Like
2. Google +1
3. Google +1 Share
5. Pin It
All 8 buttons I would like to have show up in the Preview on the settings page in the Admin UI, but only 3 buttons show up at the bottom of the content area, where I placed shortcode.
I found an existing thread where others were having this same problem. We all addressed our problem and asked for it to be fixed, and the dev's solution was to go back several versions to 1.2.8 (as of this review, the current V is 1.2.14). That's fine for a temporary workaround. But here it is 3 months later, and there have been updates, but there has been no other responses to the help ticket nor has the problem been addressed or fixed on any of the updates.
Deleting this plugin and going with something that works, and that the developers care about whether it works. I understand that this is free and probably a side project, but there is a minimum amount of responsibility the dev takes on to put out a working, functional product on WP, even if it's free.
This plugin hasn't been updated in a year. it's buggy, slow, and doesn't work with google+ on your blogroll page even though it has a button for it. With the lack of updates and no response for the developer, it seems this one is going to the land of forgotten and useless plugins.
I'd recommend Hupso instead. it is freshly updated and works great. It also has simple shortcodes that allow you to turn it on and off for specific pages, or for specific categories - something that this one is sorely missing.
