Worked for awhile, but needs updates.

I used this for a while and it worked fine, but now there are better options and I switched.
My current main problem was that it would still show up on mobile devices. Since Google made the big Mobile-geddon change, this was unacceptable.
Also, I didn't like that it would pop out the whole sidebar sometimes when going to the next page.
I have moved to:
...and it has some way better options! These are the options I was wishing for with this outdated plugin:

  • Disable for mobile users
  • Not only does it have ability for widgets, which is what I use it for, but can also do: Subscribe, WP Login, Single Post, iframe, picture, video, or custom template!
  • Custom tab word / size / picture
  • Start with sidebar In, Out, or auto-timed pop out.
  • Customize background color
  • Custom CSS
  • Slide position, left, right, height, % vertical position
  • Include, exclude page filters, or upon use of shortcode
  • Choice of which hook to integrate with
Thank you

good plugin.

No onload

No onload and only shows the title of a text widget, not the content.

I have had no problem whatsoever!
My website is chinsco.com and the "Sliding Drawer" is "Login"!
If you get side-bar login it is a simple login system!

Simply does not work correctly. Works fine in FireFox, but Chrome and Safari don't like it: Looks great when first visiting a site, but as soon as you refresh the page or go to another, it goes all wacky; the tap stays tucked in and the slider content sticks out, or vice versa...

If this bug is fixed, I'd use this in a heartbeat.

Error in stylings

The idea of the plugin is good, but it works bad for tabs at left or right, because then the tab is at the right, BUT the text widget, for example, is located outside of the panel and is shown, when the tab is closed :-/
