Improve your WordPress SEO: Write better content and have a fully optimized WordPress site using Yoast's WordPress SEO plugin.
XML sitemap feature seriously needs a "pages to exclude" functionality!
But every must make additional seo changes, otherwise great!
Required Plugin for most any site. Well documented, and thoroughly researched. Has more features than the majority of site owners will know how to deal with.
4 star rating is only because it may be TOO feature rich for many content editors. I would like to see some default settings changed, like exclusion of redundant content from xml sitemaps - based on standard WordPress installs.
I never launch a site without WordPress SEO by Yoast.
It helps you to optimise pages which really helps with your overall SEO efforts and overall it is a very good plugin
Tested several similar plugins, this one beats most of them.
Anyhow, UI is a bit heavy, otherwise great!
I just update the latest version of plugin.. seems to be broken..
This is great plugin for SEO the tools is complete. Thanks. :)
I like how it seamlessly integrates with WP despite the fact that it makes a lot of changes on the produced HTML in order to make it more SEO friendly. I like the integration with the publishing interface in particular. And the bulk editor is also great: extra kudos for that!
I also like that it doesn't take a big performance hit and it doesn't introduce much latency so the site keeps being responsive enough and the pages don't take a lot extra time to load.
One complaint I have though is that the settings menu is a mess and everywhere I keep finding a lot of settings and functionality that I don't need and I wish I could be able to turn those things off somehow so I don't have to see them every time I am looking for a setting or editing a post. Being myself a WordPress plugin developer (https://wordpress.org/plugins/marketo-connector-public/) I know this issue is hard to tackle and you have to find a compromise between customizability (in order to satisfy advanced users) and simplicity (for the rest of us), but this plugin offers an all or nothing approach I am not very satisfied with. I want modularity. That is what I am talking about, I guess.
I am also a little bit worried think that the plugin is necessarily but dangerously intrusive, so it can be (and has been in the past: http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/58963/discuss) the source of security issues leading to serious vulnerabilities.
Keep up the good work:)
