Improve your WordPress SEO: Write better content and have a fully optimized WordPress site using Yoast's WordPress SEO plugin.
Miss a button "Generate SEO title". And in the support area i didn't get any answer.
This plugin made my site disappear from Google index :(
Support is not user-friendly.
Too many problems and no information :(
I've posted an issue about integration with Social Media but there haven't been any responses from the team for almost more than a two weeks.
I remember seeing other users commenting that they have the same issue and those comments have been removed. Kind of trying to hide or unaccept the issue.
Useless. Optimize your theme, that is enough!
I've tried this plugin starting over a year ago. I had some very significant problems with it throwing errors and not rewriting titles correctly per the settings I had specified in the plugin. I deactivated it and went on with life.
Fast forward over a year later, and now it's been renamed to include "WordPress" and the hype is even greater. I decided to take it for a spin again, hoping it had been improved. Big mistake. It actually deactivated the Google Analytics plugin (I know...hard to believe but true) and caused several other problems on the site.
My advice: stay away. Lots of the things that this plugin does is old news when it comes to SEO anyway. You could seriously cause more problems on your site than help if you don't know what you're doing.
Write good content that real people want to read, share, and save. Period. Leave the hype behind and enjoy life :)
And no explanations :( Support is not free.
I hated giving this 1 star because it's so highly rated by others, but the problem is it's WAY too complex with virtually no explanation of what each section does. Some have small descriptions, but in the main I scrolled through all the sections you can adjust, completely bemused by the never ending text boxes you can add some weird code to and the array of tick boxes that you can tick, without having even the first clue what they are all for.
There is a hefty file here https://yoast.com/articles/wordpress-seo/ that helps out but be prepared for some mighty reading!
