I was using Yoast's "Robots Meta" plugin on a site to set the "noarchive" tag. Yoast pushes an update telling me to stop using that plugin and replace it with Yoast SEO, which will do the same thing. So I install SEO, "import" the settings from Robots Meta, and then delete Robots Meta.
Turns out SEO doesn't do the same thing at all, and now the meta tag i needed is gone. I was foolish to delete the Robots Meta plugin, because I can't download it again – but why the hell would they tell me to replace it with something that doesn't do the same thing **at all**???
Titles are not displayed correct, even if force rewrite is enabled.
Since the new updates the xml sitemaps are not functioning properly. Suddenly on existing sites we get the following addition which lead nowhere
We have no idea where this is coming from suddenly. We are also not able to disable it.
I'm not a SEO expert but I love this plugin and I use it all the time :) It's easy to use when want to optimize your webpage.
Version 3 and newer are an absolute mess, stay away!!!
This used to be the best SEO plugin, now with v. 3 it has been ruined.
Time to find a better alternative!
Will get you better understanding of how to write and immediate feedback.
This is The best SEO plugin ever made. Sitemap, robots, meta tags... Perfect
Yoast.. one of the default plugins we install on every wp website we do
The 'Check SEO' function doesn't work along with a couple of other minor bugs. It was good while it lasted but time to cut her loose.
