Unable to edit posts

Since the update I have a 30-40 second lag when I go to edit previously published pages or posts and get a beachball. Had to deactivate.

It was great, but now...avoid like the plague

I and many others judging by the forums used to love Yoast SEO. But after version 2.3.5 it has plummeted downhill.
Examples of good to bad:
1) It use to support adding meta data on pages and posts, now gone
2) It use to provide both and overview and a details tab. The work as a writer and editor was done off of the details tab, now only the summary.
3) It never needed support, and I was willing to pay the $69 because it was so good, now I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Version 3 is bad

From version 3, this plugin has worsened enough. :(

After version 2.3.5 this plugin has been nothing but trouble. I will be looking for a new SEO plugin.

Yoast was good, but over the last updates to deteriorate significantly.

Yoast was good, but over the last updates to deteriorate significantly. It ceased to operate sitemap. And there are other problems. I'm beginning to seriously consider switching to another SEO plugin if not Yoast fix your mistakes.

Latest version is fairly broken and support requests are ignored
By , for WP 4.4.1

It seems like they only respond to paid users but why am I going to upgrade to the paid version of something where the demo is broken and nobody cares about the bugs?

See here and another thing that happened just today.

Very disappointing for what is supposed to be the top SEO plugin.

Great Plugin but I miss the redirection feature :(
By , for WP 4.4.1

This is the must have plugin in my WordPress arsenal but I was shocked to see that they have removed 301 redirection in the update. My redirected URLs are messed up now :/
Any solution guys?

Google Webmaster problem with Yoast
By ,

I'm sure Yoast Premium is an invaluable product - because it offers support whereas the basic version doesn't. However, I've been unable to find a solution to the error message I get on my Google Webmasters account which cannot find the Yoast generated sitemap index file:

General HTTP error: 404 not found
HTTP Error: 404

So I've given up on Yoast basic and decided to make my own sitemap.xml file. It's very easy and it worked excellently on an earlier non-WP site I built.

There is much to be learned from the Yoast site, but I reckon a thorough study of Google Webmasters is probably better. Just a personal opinion.

Try this: Build and Submit a Sitemap

Makes it easy

This plugin makes it easy add a little or a lot of SEO elements to your site. Highly recommend!
