I'm brand new to yoast as a product, but thought it was cool. The little Green circles are nice, however after a few days the plugin just bailed on me. It shows the name Yoast on the post page, but no longer has the data fields to enter anything.
I google searched the problem and found hundreds of references for the same issue going back a few years.
I removed it and loaded ALL in ONE... let's see if that one works.
Yoast is far too risky to use.
I've been using Yoast SEO for about a year, and have not found any other that compares. I feel though that its meteoric rise in popularity might have generated some issues.
The current issue resolve rate is pretty bad. In my case, when the plugin auto-updated to the latest version, it broke my homepage, it displays blank, so I've been forced to deactivate it for now.
It could be some incompatibility with my caching / minification plugins, so I'll have to look it up, but well, there ARE issues.
I'm hoping the issues will be resolved soon, since I depend on this plugin very much, and want to award it 5 stars.
I am not an SEO expert, but this has been more than enough for my needs.
After installing the Yoast SEO, plugin don't show in pages neither in admin page
With latest WP and Yoast Plugin I get "There were no profiles found" for GSC.
This did work before so I guess bugs have been introduced or incompatibilites came up without any errors being displayed.
A great tool to take care of your site's SEO.
I install it in every new site I build.
having error with the sitemap link on the latest version.
Very helpful in bringing in an audience.
Over the years the yoast plugin has turned into Nagware....
I cant comprehend how annoying it is to use the plugin now.
Mate, when i click on the X to dismiss the search console crawler option, that means DONT TELL ME AGAIN THE NEXT CLICK I MAKE.
No matter how many times you dismiss the message it will return for every click you make. And you cannot turn this off.
Also the plugin warns you about xml sitemap not being activated and your using a competitor plugin. Who cares Yoast, i dont want to use your xml sitemap feature because i get a 404 error page on the xmlsitemap when its visited (this is a known bug btw) so i had no choice but to use the official xml sitemaps plugin.
The plugin is good but ill say it again, its become annoying to use.
Im at the tipping point of moving all clients to another alternative such as AIO SEO.....
I hope they turn these annoying features off in the next up coming versions or else i jump ship.
