It is good.
Good free plugin works on most browsers, but the background fade doesn't work on IE8.
I have an issue with this plugin. On my simple personal website, it works well. I just have to buy the pro version to have the option I want.
The thing is on the professional website, the pop up doesn't show up.
Look of this pluggin pop up is awesome.
I love the work that went into the UI on this, that I was able to use a shortcode, and the vast options with the plugin. However, no matter what options I chose, I could never get the height and width correct. And the formatting didn't assume any of the base CSS formatting. Since there's no where to add custom CSS, I had to abandon it since I don't want to add more to my theme.
This worked for me right away. Easy to configure and looks good. Being able to add conditions that control when and where the popup works is a super feature.
One of the best free plugins I've used. Thanks!
UPDATE: I just had to lower this two stars. It doesn't work that well on mobile. The popup fills the mobile screen and the close button can't be found.
If there were a condition that allowed mobile devises to be excluded from the popup I would give it back another star. But since so much traffic is on mobile I am actually deactivating this plugin.
Bummer. Back to the drawing board.
Just as it should)
Can contain SmartResponder code.
Upd.: throws a warning after adding a popup:
" Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in /wp-content/plugins/wordpress-popup/popoverincludes/classes/popoverpublic.php on line 92 and defined in /wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 990"
not user-friendly behavior.
More or less works. However, default style looks bad and it does not really allow useful styling. Also, obnoxious nagware gets installed onto your admin panel.
