1.3.2 mostly works on 3.81 migration
By , for WP 3.8.1

Images don't transfer, but easily manually moved over with links maintained, The Events Calendar and Akismet need to be pre-installed on target. Saves a lot of time, bit not 100%

Quick and got everything (slightly too much)

After I did a migration using the exporter and importer tools, I needed to clean up the internal links. This tool did it very quickly, all the links were updated properly. One small bug: anybody's word's with apostrophe's got turned into word\'s with apostrophe\'s, so I had to do some grepping to find all the mess-ups and manually clean them up. But that was a small price to pay for a structurally flawless cleanup after importing.

Works great, but needs better instructions

This is a great program which would be worthy of 5 stars. But I took off 1 star for somewhat inadequate documentation.

I wanted to move my site from one subdomain to another, FROM html://wordpresstest.hjcs.org TO html://wp.hjcs.org . I was under the impression that the Migration Assistant would do all the work. But it did not.

Despite asking for details about my ftp logon in the setup screen, WPM did not actually move any files. I had to take care of that little detail manually. But once I did that, my site came up properly in its new home, because WPM did all the heavy lifting.
