Enables gzip-compression if the visitor's browser can handle it. This will speed up your WordPress website drastically and reduces bandwidth usag
ismyblogworking.com - reported my website as being slow - 2.26 sec. load - and heavy. Implemented ezgz, test now shows load at 1.43 sec. and 76% bandwidth saving. Nice!
This makes my site much more faster when compared to W3 Total Cache..
Thanks for this great plugin onceagain..
Simple and easy to use. Does what it says it does. Go for it.
NB: I tried something called gzip-ninja-speed-compression and it threw an Error 500. I know it's not going to be like this for everybody, but for me it's what made me try WordPress Gzip Compression, and I'm glad I did.
I installed the plugin, emptied my Firefox's chache and reloaded my site - I could see the GZip encoding for HTML, CSS and JS files.
Microsoft IIS server.
My site turns offline until delete manually the folder on ftp
