The Wordfence WordPress security plugin provides free enterprise-class WordPress security, protecting your website from hacks and malware.
One of the best plugins that makes security of a wordpress web site a bit easy, if you follow the instructions it will secure your web site to the limit, thanks for the support and the brilliant free security services that you offer!
I use Wordfence in 90% of my web sites!
Site unexpectedly went down due to a code error in a core file. Webhost support was useless. Uploaded Wordfence and ran a scan. It discovered the code error and fixed it. Site running. What more can I say?
Easy and secure and proactive. Wordfence runs are so automatic I do not have to log in and fret over the site's security. Automatic scans tell me when updates are needed, warns of threats and even notifies if any code was changed. Peace of mind.

Very useful! Simple and user friendly administration. I recommend this plugin to every webmaster who does not want to be hacked! Attention: I got problems with fail2ban-rules after using wordfence my IP was blocked. Check your rules!
Currently removed all the shite out my buddy's website. Love the plugin :)
Every day my WordFence file is changed once this IP hits my website:

If you are for the free, go for it. Just great, the filechange comparison is amazing and helped me a lot several times.
Bought the premium version, support = zero, got more help many times in free forums.
1. Falcon crashed my site, support answered (vaguely) 7 days later.
2. Got aserver complain, too much CPU use, 13 days later no answer at all.
No matter how small or large a WP site I'm building, one of the first things I do is chain the big Wordfence dog up in the front yard before I get to work.
It's big, it's fast, it's got a face only a mother (or another plugin developer) could love, and it scares the heck out of intruders (*points to the stack of hackers by the fence*).
Don't even think about approaching my WordPress yard. Wordfence will get you. Good dog. Now if it would only fetch updates besides its own...
All kidding aside, Wordfence has become my favorite and first choice for security and watchdogging.
This plugin has all I need to secure my client websites, and great support from author.
Thank you for great work.
