The Wordfence WordPress security plugin provides free enterprise-class WordPress security, protecting your website from hacks and malware.
Lots of features including cell phone sign in security, scheduled scanning and more if you register. Well worth the price per year. I had a major malware problem on my site, this program fixed it!
Easy to use and super-clever!
Il livello di sicurezza che si può garantire al sito è davvero eccezionale. Grazie per aver sviluppato questo plugin avanti anni luce rispetto a tutti gli altri.
Easy to use and does everything it's supposed to do.
Sweet merciful crap it's horrible to have some spam inserted into all of your your domains' wordpress sites, I had SIX various wordpress security plugins that told me some various things, but none told me what was wrong and how to fix it. I installed this one just because and BOOM, it showed me EXACTLKY where the open doors were and I cleaned them ALL up. I just uninstalled all other other plugins and install this on all my domains. This is the best for sure. Thank you sincerely for making this plugin great, and effective and free, now I'm going to go buy it to support you.
Identified compromised files and made it easy to remove them; primary issues sorted in a matter of minutes, leaving site running as normal and declared clean by an online security test.
Enough options to make it powerful, not so many as to be confusing.
Wordfence is, hands-down, the BEST free security plugin for WordPress. Thank you so much for providing this fantastic product at no cost... especially when protecting your website from malware is absolutely priceless!
I got hacked. One of the things I did in response was to run some scans to find the malware, and that process led to Wordfence Security plug-in. It found the malware and that was fixed, but it also told me things I never knew:
On average, every 2 minutes of every day someone somewhere tries to log into my blog with an administrator ID. Wordfence makes it easy to block these by IP address.
At least for the past couple of days, there have been 4 crawlers ion my site at the same time!
I really like the ability of Wordfence to detect and automatically block denial of service attacks, and its notification feature that sends an email when a problem is spotted.
I have not tried the Falcon caching engine on my high-traffic site yet. I tried it on a low-traffic site and noted that pages were indeed being cached. It was easy to implement.
One of my plugins was hacked with a malicious redirect. This program found it, allowed me to delete it, and got us back in business.
