Wow, it imports!
By , for WP 4.3

If you have a lot of users or products, be prepared for a long wait, and make sure you have plenty of memory/execution time in your php.ini script. I ran it on a WAMP server (localhost) so I was able to bump it up a bit. It seemed to import around 500 to 1000 users per 120 second limit (until I wised up and increased the execution time).

When I ran it, it did not import the images, but it may be because I only hooked up the OScommerce database locally, not the full site, since it was text data I was mostly concerned with. Also I have a very old version of OScommerce with CREloaded circa 2003! It also missed the Information Pages completely, but that I would attribute to simply being an older version of OSCommerce.

I'd love to see it import Links, but again, this may be something unique to my old version of OScommerce.

Fantastic plug-in and rare

Awesome plug-in that works well. Some folks might need to tweak it and bump up sever memory if they have a large amount of orders.

Huge time saver! Couldn't do what I needed to do my hand.

Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it could really use staggering, for those with alot of data to import. Also, couldn't get a reply from the author recently.

Would be even better if it imported digital products data. But OSC wasn't really meant for it, so not a deal breaker.

Love it. Thanks to the author!

The only other options can be expensive. From $99+ plugin's to migration services that would have cost me over $500.

Huge Time Saver

Thanks to the author for this plugin, you just saved me hours of work. Only wish was that it also imported product pictures as well, but the bulk of the work was handled.

Great!!

Good plugin but ...

Sorry for this comment from "google translation"
This plugin is not too bad actually, and especially it has the merit to exist.
I tried to adapt to the e-commerce solution Zencart (OsCommerce fork).
However:
- It is very very slow for consistent data bases (several consecutive timeouts) -> more than 10 products migrated each script
- There is an error on the stock (I feel that the treatment combines quantities when a product is linked to multiple categories)
I'll try to see if there is no rapid improvement possible.

Very Helpful Plugin

Very nice plugin. Reduced my work so much. Imported all oscommerce products in one click. Thanks a lot for making this plugin.

Good job

This plugin is very well built and understandable.
If your products are not imported, remove the pd.language = 1 in the first query after the comment "Import the products."
And if the application will stop every 30 seconds, do not forget this line:
ini_set ('max_execution_time', time in seconds)

Excellent Plugin!

I have used this plugin for migrating from oscommerce. It works out of the box without any issues. The only change I did was to not use Remote MySQL. Instead I just copied over the tables to a database on the localhost.

The products, categories and customers were imported successfully without any hiccups.
Great work. Saved me a lot of time on coding up something that would have been used only once.
