If you are going to author a plugin, you need to provide at the very least basic documentation. 1, 2, 3 just does not cut it. Very lazy. Especially #3.
1. Upload the wonderm00n-open-graph to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress
3. Got to Options, Facebook Open Graph Tags to set it up
Works great with WordPress 4.2.2
Thanks for this plugin!
Great for debugging and generate clean to Facebook Open Graph Addthis.
simple to install, very full for options, good job
This plugin was just what I needed to control what image Facebook uses when sharing a link to one of my pages or posts. I wanted to specify the og:image property, but not the other properties such as title and url, because those are already added by the Facebook plugin on my site. I first tried a plugin that didn't give control over which properties were specified, so then when I ran the Facebook debugger I got errors because properties were being specified twice. With this plugin, I unchecked everything except the image property, and it works great.
Application excellent, works without error, really essential!
Thank you so much to the developer and continue the great work!
All I wanted to do was set a default og:image for my site and assign a particular og:image to a particular page to override the Featured Image for FB sharing. This plugin did those things admirably.
Unfortunately, even with everything else disabled, the plugin overwrote titles and descriptions that were working perfectly well.
As in the title. The plugin works perfectly well, but the back-end interface would clearly benefit from a more intuitive layout - for example, dividing the lengthy list of checkboxes into well-described sections/tabs, etc.
Option to have a default image is a big plus. Your posts look great. I am very happy to have this plug-in.
Works like a charm. Thanks so much for this plugin.
