The easy way to Add Widgets or Sidebars to Posts and Pages by shortcodes or template tags.
thank you for your hard work.
free coffee for you if you are in seattle.
let me know :)
I am so sick of coding! This plugin helped me save another couple of hours of learning more code, just to put a widget on a page. It works well, makes things simple and hasn't caused any problems.
Thank you Todd!
I used it on my last site, and downloaded it again for my current design. I can add cool looking useful content in a second with a couple clicks with widgets on pages...widgets on sidebars was nice, but they do need to be on the actual pages also...it does so many things. And with a text widget, I can easily add custom html to a footer with little effort.
Finally, I can leverage all the hard work of widget-coders anywhere on a site. Kinda changes everything.
I only wish it had some CSS styling instructions. I'm having a little trouble targeting a particular widget.
... and, almost, my life!
so nice! i cant describe how amazing you are!
Used in all my projects
This has saved me so much time! If you need to put some text (or whatever) on a lot of pages, then after two weeks you change your mind.. Then it's boring changing the same text on every page, and probably you make some spelling mistakes, and then it's even more boring..
But with this plugin you can make a text in a widget, and then put the shortcode where you feel like.. Then all you have to do to change all the pages is to change the one widget.. 5 stars no doubt!
EDIT: This plugin goes great along with the WP Widget Cache plugin which allows you to controll what widget to cache and for how long you want to cache it. If you have anything heavy on your site, put it in a widget an cache it. In that way you'll speed up the site.
