Widget Logic lets you control on which pages widgets appear using WP's conditional tags. It also adds a 'widget_content' filter.
This is so good it should be apart of the WordPress core! It's an essiential plugin that can easily make your WordPress site not look so much like the millions of other WordPress sites out that! Yay!
I used it in wordpress latest. It's working fine. Thank you so much.
This is exactly what I was looking for.. Thanx a lot !!
There are some other widget display plugins that are easier for end users, but they just don't provide a fine enough degree of control for more complex sites.
Great Plugin!!! Thanks ...
I use this recommended code to allow a widget from appearing on all pages except the listed page which in the example is the About Us page:
!is_page('about') -- everywhere EXCEPT this specific WP 'page'
Just wish I could figure out how to exclude it on two pages rather than one so I have submitted a request to support.
Please keep up with this plugin - It saved my site. Then I find out that it can add or delete fom a series of pages, more awesome. This is the first plugin that has allowed me to bypass the gantry framework over-rides that make the other plugins not work. Thank you for this plugin, and as soon as I sell my next site I will donate for sure.
This widget should be called "Life Saver Widget", but widget logic will do. It's One of the best widgets for WordPress there is. I will be using it in all my projects -- no doubt about it!
I just can't say enough good things about it. My workload is reduced greatly by being able to just slip a little code into the widget logic area of the widget and that's that! What a wonderful plugin!
Very developer friendly, may not be that simple at first if you don't have a lot of coding knowledge but is somewhat easy to figure out and can be very powerful once you do.
