What The File adds an option to your toolbar showing what file and template parts are used to display the page you’re currently viewing.
Simple time saver. Does just what it says. Adds a list in the front-end admin bar showing which template files are getting used for the current page/post/index view.
This is great & simple plugin that just does exactly what's advertised, and is a serious time-saver when doing WP theme dev.
I used to have my own hacky way of finding out which theme file was doing what. This is a more intelligent solution. Well done Barry
Found it very useful and worked perfectly!
Works with WP 4.0 seamlessly. I'm pretty new to WP Theme Development. This plugin helps a lot to understand what type of template file WP is using to display content.
Absolutely helpful and slim tool, which has a useful position in the admin bar. I love this tool - it saves time, gives you an understanding of how WP works. 5 Stars ? Too easy!
Couldn't imagine developing a client theme without this excellent plugin. It's a hair-saver.
This is the best tool I've used while developing and debugging themes to figure out where the content is coming from. No more wasted time making random echos and page refreshes.
Just what I needed - thank you!
This is a great plugin for anyone who has to do some edits of the theme files. It tells you exactly which file a particular page uses and you can go into the FTP, find the file and edit as necessary. Very simple and functional.
