What The File adds an option to your toolbar showing what file and template parts are used to display the page you’re currently viewing.
Great way to find out what template file is being used!
This is a great plugin. While it might not show every single file in use, it will attempt to bring up all the main template files, so figuring the route from there is quite easy (unless you are working on a really really really bad template).
I love this plugin and I recommend it to everyone when I teach theme development. Everyone gets a laugh out of the title. I love that it also shows the template parts as well as the template file that is being used.
Very useful plugin, it helps me to locate the file without going through the whole directory
Simple time saver. Does just what it says. Adds a list in the front-end admin bar showing which template files are getting used for the current page/post/index view.
This is great & simple plugin that just does exactly what's advertised, and is a serious time-saver when doing WP theme dev.
I used to have my own hacky way of finding out which theme file was doing what. This is a more intelligent solution. Well done Barry
Found it very useful and worked perfectly!
Works with WP 4.0 seamlessly. I'm pretty new to WP Theme Development. This plugin helps a lot to understand what type of template file WP is using to display content.
Absolutely helpful and slim tool, which has a useful position in the admin bar. I love this tool - it saves time, gives you an understanding of how WP works. 5 Stars ? Too easy!
Couldn't imagine developing a client theme without this excellent plugin. It's a hair-saver.
