Very useful plugin, no issues
By , for WP 3.8.1

This plugin has been very helpful when having to go into sites built by other developers as it shows what file is creating what page. However, as nickth mentioned, it would be even more helpful if it showed all files instead of just the main template that the page uses.

Terrific

No more mucking around following a trail of breadcrumbs and clues to figure out which file you are in. Just hover over What The File and know instantly!

An Excellent Plug-in

This plugin has helped me tremendously as I work to become more familiar with WordPress. I'm sure many will find it helpful but particularly WP newbies. A must have plugin for any WP install.

Just what I needed.

I've been looking for something like "inspect element" that would tell me which template of file code was coming from. This plug in is exactly what I needed.

Incredibly useful little plugin, couldn't do without it.

Shows PHP files - just not plugin php files
By , for WP 3.8

What The File is a great plugin to help developers speed up finding out which php files are used within a page. My only complaint is that it doesn't show ALL of the php files, like those called from a plugin, which would make this plugin much better.
