Works Pretty Well
By , for WP 3.7.1

Simple, easy to use, and responsive. I can load pictures from my computer, media library, or even a NextGen gallery.

A couple of shortcomings:

  1. The captions in a slide are not clickable, i.e., while you can set up the slide to take the user to another page/address when the picture is clicked, the caption within the slide is not part of the link so clicking on the caption doesn't do anything. The caption should be moved inside the anchor link so clicking anywhere on the slide, including the caption, takes the user to the link target. This would be especially useful for slides where the caption takes up a good portion of the slide area when the site is being viewed with a smart phone.
  2. The captions don't support HTML. If I could add a link tag in my caption that reads "click here" or "read more," that would have partially alleviated the first problem.
    good plugin, some small issues

    Nice and intuitive, and works like a charm. Some small issues:
    - layout of the widget in the WP backend is cluttered in W7+Firefox: the buttons don't align well;
    - the slider isn't placed in a <p> tag, so I have to repeat all styling on a .widget p on .slider-wrapper;
    - I'm really missing a 'swipe' transition option -- a 'slide in' where simultaneously the original image slides out.

    Excellent start, looking forward to further refinement

    It took way more time to find a simple widget that would allow for a rotating image in my sidebar. I wanted to use images already in my media library, and I didn't want more options than a modern fighter jet. I found it here. I only took off one star for media library integration. Once it's possible to display existing captions (for images sourced from the media library) rather than requiring a second caption to be set, it'll be five stars. Very happy.

    Images?
    By , for WP 3.4.2

    Hi!

    I like the plugin, but I'm running into problems when uploading images. At first I thought it was the extension. But I tried several things which all resulted in the 'broken image' icon. Have you guys got any idea what is going on?

    Regards,

    Rob

    It would be perfect if we had the code to insert it in a post.

    Nice work!
