As mentioned by others, the plugin is buggy.
I ended up buying this because of the sub-tasks. Unfortunately sub-tasks are nothing more than a note of the task. They do not truly equate to a child task. The calendar does not show all my tasks or milestones. The "My Tasks" screen would show undone tasks as done and tasks I set as done as undone.
OK... Let's work with support to figure this out. That is when they ask you for your admin login credentials. I'm sorry. NO. Are you kidding me?
They told me to turn off all other plugins and switch to the 2016 WP Theme. I did. Still did not work.
They asked again for admin rights to figure it out. So I gave them 'limited' rights to my back end so they could see the issue from there.
All they said was it works for them in their environment and they need full admin rights to figure it out.
That was a show stopper.
They would not even try to figure out the issue without access to my back end. Forget about the lag in communication due to them being overseas. Their refund policy is strict, but I was relentless and made sure that my first request for the refund was within the 14 days. It took another 14 days of back and forth (one email per day due to time lag) before they finally consented to the refund.
So... one star for returning my money. Thank you.
I wanted this to work. I have done a lot of looking around. I have settled on OrangeScrum OpenSource (not a wp-plugin).

Purchased the pro version. Emails were not being sent. Opened a ticket. Support responded and said the plugin works fine. I responded that they need to take a better look plus I created a username and password for my site so they can check it out. I checked. They never once logged in. When I responded with that they then created multiple admin users on my site. Then requested FTP access. I gave them full ssh access. They then went in. Then returned asked again for FTP access. Gave them the SSH access info again. Then AGAIN they ask for the info. This went out for close to three weeks. I finally gave up. I'm not demoing:
Save your money and get something else!
The calendar feature is very limited & does not show in the free version. Beware they will only refund for bugs they can't fix & in a 14 day window.
Bought the Pro Version of this plugin. Frontend will only display a task and the links to view the details or comments on the task the page just refreshes & doesn't do anything. Tried to get support but they have deactivated their forums. Are showing a server error when trying to create a support ticket, and the contact page on their site shows the shortcode for a gravity form.
The only reason this gets one star is that the backend seems to work ok, however without the frontend capability we feel screwed.
Useless unless you pay for it. Waste of my time.
First feature that I tried after creating a category and project was "duplicate project," which is important to many who look for a PM platform to have a "template" or "cloning" feature. Does not work. In-progress spinner just sits there. No errors thrown to the php log either. How is this product tested? I had high hopes, but this is not a good start.
This plugin is a terrific idea.
Just too many conflicts with other plugins, such as: Updraftplus, Events, etc. to be considered seriously.
Support: They do answer your emails. However, no solutions are offered. You basically get back a terse email with "not our problem."
Pass on this plugin until support improves and the authors deal with multiple plugin conflicts.
This is the worst wordpress plugin experience I've ever had.
The plugin is buggy, basic, doesn't add any technical advantage to project management. The 14 day trial/refund policy is misleading and the company will find every excuse to not give you your money back.
I paid for the full version as described on their slick looking website. The website completely oversells the functionality.
Don't do it! Keep looking! There are much better project management tools out there.
The website has totally oversold the pro version of the product as well as the add-ons all of which was paid for.
Incomplete features, not user-friendly and way too many bugs.
If you look at the comments, they do ask users to submit issues that they face so that they can be solved. The point is, there should not be so many issues with basic functionality in the first place! When you install this plugin you will see that this is a alpha-beta version at best, and many of the add-ons, which you have to pay for, are at version 0.1......which I only got to know after paying money.
The first plugin which I totally regret paying for.
I purchased the WP Project Manager after testing it extensively on their demo website, reading reviews and online documentation. I was reassured by WeDevs company's 14-day full refund promise.
However, after purchasing the plugin and installing it, the software did not work as described.
I asked the company for a refund and they refused. WeDevs has terrible customer service. Their product is subpar. I would not recommend this plugin. Do not waste your money.
