After reading some favourable reviews, I started using Watu to help create an eLearning platform for the company that I work at. Compared to many other quiz plugins, it was clear that there were a wide range of options to customise quizzes as required.
Given how feature rich and easy it was to use, I upgraded to the full package, which included WatuPro, the Intelligence and Play modules to add some extra functionality. I'm glad that I did. The badge system and the reports are very useful, and the customer service is exceptional. All questions and requests were answered within hours of asking.
I’m using a local installation of WordPress that will only be accessed across our local network. I tried a couple of quizzes and this was the easiest to setup.
I’m using the free version of Watu and have run a few quizzes using multiple choice questions with no hitches. But, I can not see the answers only the results. I realise that there is a setting to not save the answers but I do not have this ticked.
I need setup a quiz with open ended questions, so it is essential I can view the answers. Is this a function that is only available in the paid for version?
I had a script on this but using a plugin for WordPress is better
I am using this plugin and it works great. I have been having my courses on static pages with the marks stored in different pages. I had to move all those questions (About 800 questions) to watu.
After moving the questions, my readers poured their reviews saying that the website is now much easier to use. I really thank watu for this plugin.
I am just curious if the developer has any roots to Kenya. The word "Watu" is a swahili word which means people. The word "kiboko" that is used as the name of the developer is also a swahili word which means rhino.
A really nice plugin. After finding a small bug and reported it there was a fix and a new version of the plugin within 30 minutes. Five stars all the way!
This plugin has tons of options to customize your tests and exams.
What i really liked about it is that, when i created WordPress users, i could give them access through a WordPress student account in order for them to view their quizzes and their results.
Another thing that I can recommend this plugin for is the amazing user support. Quick responses and very helpful.
I needed a powerful plugin for quizzes used at a top level event. Tried a lot, but Watu was immediately the most easy to use, with a lot of functionalities and perfectly operational on smartphones (an important requirement for the project). Free version almost suits my need, but to go further, I bought Pro version and it worths every penny. Support is awesome, very effective and very kind. Desserves its five stars, even for the free version.
After pressing show results button at the end of quiz, Latex Math Equations are not loading, only blank space is there in place of equations. Using Jetpack 3.7 for latex math. Please fix it.
Using the plugin to create quizzes and have them sent to an email address. The developer was very helpful in adding a feature so that each quiz can go to a separate email address.
