Absolutely no support - despite paying for the PRO version.

Totally broke my site.

What I did see of it is basically the author BEGGING for money.

I paid for $200 for W3 Total Cache Support, but didn't get anything!

Don't pay for any w3tc support packages!

I had the w3tc plugin installed, but it didn't seem to perform as advertised. On 11/10/2014, I used their in-app (in WordPress) purchasing to order their $200 "Linux Server Optimization & Plugin Configuration" service. I received an immediate confirmation of my order (probably an auto-response). On 11/11/2014 I received an email from Willie Jackson [wjackson@w3-edge.com] thanking me for the order and letting me know my work had been scheduled.

Other than those email, I never received anything else from w3-edge. I emailed back asking for status 11/18/2014, 12/6/2014, 12/16/2014. I submitted a ticket in their on-line system on 1/6/2015. Again I received an auto-response, but nothing else.

I suspect there's no legitimate, working support organization at w3-edge.com. On 1/28/2015 I uninstalled w3tc from my WordPress site. I've had no noticeable degradation in performance. In fact, I've measured lower page load times and lower overall server load without it.

Don't install it. And definitely don't pay for any of their in-app support packages.

worst caching plugin ever !!!

It has lots of features but most of them would break my site entirely.
I couldn't even configure it to a stable state.
Worst thing is that it decreased my pageSpeed based on google's pageSpeed insights !!!

don't bother installing it, it's a shining piece of garbage !

Just broke my site

For some reason today, I just couldn't access my site. It seems w3 total cache was the culprit. Not great. Had to remove a number of files all over the place to get my site back.

Sorely introduced to the WSOD via w3 total cache that leaches in and deeply embeds itself in php. A quick google search will provide you with a drove of people that have been put through the ringer with no real tangible solution. I've tried everything and now contemplating starting over from scratch. I was getting POP UPS to follow and like every two seconds after just installing and the it would read: it's been 30 days, follow and like!!! Nothing, but an absolute nightmare of rage and pulling out hair due to his mess.

After 30 days; you will see a pop-up message from W3totalcache

Always getting website down and CDN has no option for cloudflare also very difficult to configure too much unnecessary options , right now I am using cloudflare which is the best , Not recommended !

Invasive, overly-complicated, there are better caching plugins out there

Question to all the 5 star reviewers out there:

Where's your evidence that this plugin is "great"?

I've done side-by-side comparisons between W3 Total Cache and other plugins, even vs. a completely manual setup.

Conclusion... W3 Total Cache was second to last in my testing. (Screenshots available on demand)

Also, after 30days of use, a popup comes up requesting you to promote the plugin, get on the email list, etc...

While I think it's absolutely fair, to suggest to free users to share, upgrade, and all that; it's just waaayyy too in my face. Grrrr...

If you're running an ecommerce shop - beware... Unless you know exactly what you're doing, this plugin can REALLY mess up the checkout experience. Particularly for those of you running WooCommerce.

Feature rich? yes.

Will it give you optimal page load times? NO.
