This is what I was looking for. I can easily update charts each month by using Google Drive for the spreadsheet. Adjust the numbers in the spreadsheet and paste a new url from the spreadsheet into this charts plugin, and the chart is updated. No csv needed. And the tutorials are very clear.
I combined it with a plugin to show certain pages only to certain logged in users (customers) so only the customer (and admin) can see their own chart. For their convenience I created a login on the frontend of the customer's own page.
Last week I knew very little about WP. Yet I completely revised my website and started playing with plugins. As a scientist I was blown away when I found our how to add tables then ever more so when I discovered the chart forming tool. Thanks for doing this.
I wanted (needed?) a chart to display monthly dividends on my [Link redacted] so that it could be visually represented instead of just a bunch of boring list items inside boring lists. Granted, the very same information in those boring list items is now graphically displayed on the page and is much more exciting to look at than just plain numbers. Also, trends can be recognized more easily. Installation was a snap, all I did was go to my blog, search for new plugins and type in 'visualizer' (sans quotes) and it was the first entry. I clicked install and then activated the plugin. Took me a while to figure out the 'shortcode' would be automatically inserted for me if I went to the page (or post, I'll assume) where I wanted to place the graph and click on the 'insert media' button and select from visualizer library where I had already setup up the column chart I wanted to use. I changed some of the display options and titles, etc. added the format for numbers ($##,###.##) so it would display as dollars instead of just numbers, and uploaded my brand new csv file and voila! The only issue I have so far is that it drops trailing zero so that a dollar amount like $1,234.50 actually appears as $1,234.5 but that's not a big deal because I have those previously mentioned boring lists underneath the graph. But, the graph does what I wanted, it catches your eye and makes a visual representation of some pretty straightforward albeit boring lists of numbers. Kudos!
This plugins is super easy to use !
And if you're looking for "Donut charts type", you can craft it with the pie chart, setting the "Pie Hole" in "Pie Settings".
Thanks for this great plugin!
Amazing work here !!
The best plugin I've found to display Google Chart in your site.
I recommend adding a widget so that user can easily insert it in a widget position.
