Adds Google Webmaster Tools verification meta tag and gets account verified.
At first I just put my code in the box and it showed up on the homepage. (-1 star) An example would be really nice or some hint text of how it should be formatted
Even better would be an alternate option that asks for just the code and puts it into a meta tag.
This code should also be in the <head> not the <body> (-1 star)
I didn't want to install the plugin because it is not set for the last version of wordpress.
anyway i did it and it SO EASY!!!!
JUST THANK YOU !!!!
Thank you Audrius. It's really work very well.
Still works like a charm. Thank you, Audrius Dobilinskas!
Install, add Google meta tag and you are verified - perfect!
I've download your plugin and I did not had to add any code of G webmaster tools as it seems my Google Analytics already recognized it.
I have some data coming into my WM tools. Does this mean I'm done? As this would make my day! :)
Great support, is all I can say. In my case, the plugin didn't work at first, probably because of my wordpress theme. I contacted the developer of the plugin and he did a fantastic job, quickly trying several ways to solve the problem until he got it working. Thank you Audrius! Pedro
What if you want to verify your site with and without the wwww can you do both as I tried via my webmaster tools adding the code to the www version and it keeps saying error...
The non www is ok i.e. Mydomainname.com seems it won't allow two verifications i.e. now the one that has WWW in my case...please advice!
At first i didn't want to upload a plugin for the purpose…..but at the state of the art this plugin saved me the day. Thanks!
it just works.. thanks
