Beware: There is no way to remove custom user roles once created
By ,

I never post reviews considering it's a waste of time, but this plugin is so terrible I had to chime in. The developer's website shows that the plugin as a "delete" button for user roles, but this is not the case. If you create a custom user role, there is no way to delete it using the plugin's interface... unless you want to upgrade to a paid version. It's a violation of WordPress plugin guidelines to have a free plugin alter a WordPress install, and then require the user to pay in order to remove what the plugin added.

You should look elsewhere for a different plugin that handles user roles more effectively.

Heavily restricted

Once again all the promised features don't work unless you pay the upgrade.

creates 404 errors
By , for WP 4.3.1

If you create private content and the public tries to view it- all it does is give a 404 error without any link to login and view the content.

Upgrade with support to fix this requires a minimum of $29/year to buy the plugin.

Code Canyon has one that works for $19 one time deal.

The website for my customer was made by a third company that installed this plugin, and blocked his user account from editing almost everything. since he does not have a full admin functionality one cannot even disable the plugin.

this plugin is good in trusted hands but beware of the third party who can block you from your own website.

I'd rate it lower if I could, broke my site.

Avoid at all costs! Installed and it looked solid, worked fairly well, then wanted to revert to stock and hit reset, and everything broke! All my plugins are no longer accessible by anyone, not even the admin account. Apparently the pro version can change plugin permissions but I'm not paying this guy $29 just to get my site back the way it was before I installed it!

So disappointed. I'm going to have to find a way to revert back to standard permissions for everything now.

Corrupted files minutes after activating.

Zero star. Changed a user role so that a client could use the options of a plugin with an editor role, while not being overwhelmed by the normal admin interface or having the possibility of accidentally messing up important settings. Worked for about 2 minutes then database error caused the site & wp admin to go down. Had to FTP delete the plugin and restore the whole site.
