Great plugin

Great plugin. Made my job extremely easy. Thanks!

Excellent plugin that continues to be the best at what it does

I have used this Vladimir's plugin (User Role Editor) for years now and I can tell you that it is one of the best and continues to be the best at what it does - Creating new user-roles and setting basic permissions for those roles. I sometimes use this in conjunction with the plugin Adminimize when projects aren't too big for a granular approach of user-access control.

As a developer, I have used this plugin a lot. Never have any conflicting issues with other plugins/themes/etc., so that's also a plus.

Thanks again Vladimir!

simple and nice

A must in every project !

The website for my customer was made by a third company that installed this plugin, and blocked his user account from editing almost everything. since he does not have a full admin functionality one cannot even disable the plugin.

this plugin is good in trusted hands but beware of the third party who can block you from your own website.

I'd rate it lower if I could, broke my site.

Avoid at all costs! Installed and it looked solid, worked fairly well, then wanted to revert to stock and hit reset, and everything broke! All my plugins are no longer accessible by anyone, not even the admin account. Apparently the pro version can change plugin permissions but I'm not paying this guy $29 just to get my site back the way it was before I installed it!

So disappointed. I'm going to have to find a way to revert back to standard permissions for everything now.
