Could not crop image nor save avatar.
By , for WP 4.1.1

After install, I noticed the addition of my gravatar in my profile, just kind of floating around in the color settings area. I clicked update, browsed to my new picture, and clicked upload. The screen that came up had this error, and a blank area for cropping the picture:

Warning: basename() expects parameter 1 to be string, object given in D:\pathtomywebsite\wp-content\plugins\user-avatar\user-avatar.php on line 281

So I'll be deleting this plugin.

Nice plugin, but removed it really quickly, as it corrupts images quality, after you upload an image (it was small PNG avatar in my case), it becomes "damaged"...

It WAS working...
By , for WP 3.9.1

The plugin was working for a while but recently the images will not appear on the front end and the attempts to upload a new photo fail.

Images wont crop and upload
By , for WP 3.9.1

After uploading an image, it goes into the cropping window... When I crop the image, and click CROP, I get an error message...

Image could not be processed. Please go back and try again.

So, the plugin isn't working for me.

Hard Coded wp-content Directory
By , for WP 3.5

The plugin uses a hard coded wp-content directory. This causes the plugin not to work if a custom content directory has been set. I was able to change it in my install and am working on a patch. I have tried to contact the authors directly but there is no easy contact info or git repo for this plugin.
