Yeeaah and pay 60 USD when you´re in trouble
By , for WP 3.9.1

Probably totally ok if you want to pay 60 USD for Updraft Plus when you get problems and really need the backup to work.
It is cheaper to export your SQL-file from PHP-admin and use it for free.

Crashed my website twice
By , for WP 3.9.1

It caused my website to 'blank page'.

Paid Service

I installed this plugin because of its cloning/migration feature. Unfortunately this feature costs $30!

Bad Support and License agreement

I have been using updraft plus plugin for a while. So far so good until my website is down and have to reinstall it to realise that the license is only by per wordpress installation.

So if my website is down, and i have to reinstall the plugin into wordpress, i have to use another license (I bought 10) for the same website. This is stupid and silly.

If i am a pro developer that knows my way around wordpress like a champ, i wouldnt need this plugin anyway. I would be able to do my own backup and restore without any problems but I am not, that is why i bought this plugin. Great plugin but stupid support team.

Constant DB corruption
By , for WP 3.9

No good.

This plugin worked until I tried to deactivate it. It corrupted the DB for my website when I tried 'deactivating' it through WordPress 'Plugins' and I completely lost access to my WP dashboard.

After re-installing the DB, the second time around it corrupted the DB when I tried 'updating' the plugin and I again have lost access to my WP dashboard. I have deleted this plugin now as I cannot have a website that keeps going down with every upgrade of this plugin.

Ut oh!! Disaster!!! Hope it can be reversed???
By , for WP 3.9.1

I used it today to back up site. Instead of doing what it's supposed to do - first time using latest version, it re installed the old end of April version.

Big mess!! I can probably re do my website but what a time waster - and what happens next time if I try to use it?

I don't trust this new version. Has problems.
It went from a 5 to a 0 to me.

I'll update if I can reach someone at the plug in office and see if they can get my site back.
The version I had til 3:30 today.

Poor plugin
By , for WP 3.7.1

I installed the plugin, wanting to make a quick backup before making changes to my site.

I ran a manual plugin and no zip file was emailed.

It came back with an error and said to look at the log file. If you are a non-techy like me, have you ever tried to look at a log file for an error?

It's a waste of time, a poor plugin that should just "work out the box" but doesn't.

I won't be using this again and I wouldn't recommend you ever use it.

Convoluted very frustrating plugin... always forcing an upsell... other free ones are better IMO

Doesn't work
By , for WP 3.8

Would proably be great if it worked but the progress just creates a log file. I have read up on the problem from 1 year old support posts and it says it's a PHP-bug and it should be updated. But my server already have the latest PHP.

**cked up my hosting disk usage.
By , for WP 3.7.1

I tried to set up regular FTP site backup to my home server. No backups was created that day and error.log file started non-stop fulfilling with

messages which instantly caused over 9000% overuse of my hosting disk space limit. Plugin deleting doesn't helped this situation - plugin files still presented on disk and were still needed to be deleted manually (why!?) to stop this madness. Well, f**k you too, mr. UpdraftPlus!
