The complete and reliable plugin for managing custom post types, custom taxonomies and custom fields.
I can't see my fields and I can't find a help for can see that with API
Uninstalled this plugin because it's unreliable (registration bug was very annoying on all my sites, "cannot create post type because there is a page of the same name") and it deleted all the post types I created with it. Luckily I had the slugs written and when I recreated the custom post types all the posts were still there. Bugs, bugs, bugs, bugs.
I loved this plugin, but now : "Types cannot update because your site's registration is not valid. Please register Toolset again for this site first."
Please remove this in the "FREE" Plugin
I loved this plugin, but I just went to update it and I couldn't. It seems they decided to make it a commercial paid plugin without notifying any of their users. So when everyone goes to update after building their sites with this crucial plugin, you can take their money. What a great business plan, offer for free and have people install and then without saying anything make it expensive and charge for it. This is sad.
I just tried to update this plugin but they made it a commercial plugin where you have to pay yearly fees of $149 each or $299 for life time updates. This must now be the most expensive plugin for wordpress ever, I am already looking for a replacement.
This plugin doesn't actually declare custom post types correctly as it has no facility to set the "support" options of the correct form of declaration.
Support is none existent, both on here and on the premium site.
I installed Types then paid for an add-on called Access. Access would not install properly. There is no place on the site to submit a support ticket. If you start a topic in the forum it gets buried quick. If you send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org it bounces. If you send a reply email to purchasing@wp-types it gets promptly ignored.
Better to create custom post types on your own.
Once I installed this plugin it stoped working comments in my posts and it did not appear the sidebar in posts.
I deleted the plugin and I still have the problem.
My advice be very careful with this plugin.
After activating this plugin, I can no longer view my media library items. It took me FOREVER to find out what was causing it, and it was this plugin. Images would be in my media collection, and would show up in the 'numbers' (attached, unattached, etc.) ..but no thumbnails, no items in library, just an empty list. Oops guys? Something need to be fixed after 3.8 maybe??
Sorry, but compared to Drupal CCK and Views, this is awkward to use, EXTREMELY limited unless you want to want to fork out the same amount of cash as Microsoft Office Suite. The value is JUST NOT THERE.
