The plugin stops working overnight and you can not update the plugin without paying!
EDIT : Ok updated as possible by turning off - update - reactivating the plugin
=> but my bug is still present, the images 'types' no longer appear
=> code that no longer works for me :
[userinfo nospan="true" field="user_login"][/userinfo]
[types usermeta="form-album-prive-image" user_current="true" output="raw"]
Although it seems easy to use the problem comes when you find bugs in the plugin.
It has so far taken a month to fix a critical bug for the company (can't save checkbox state)
Another problem i had also took them more than a month to figure out what was wrong.
They are friendly and helpsome it just takes too long for me to recommend it to a production environment.
Helped me alot!
A fellow developer used this plugin to speed up the build for a website. And I really wish he didn't.
This is not suitable for a client's website. There are many better solutions available.
Here's some complaints:
1) There is a "Help box" which is enabled for your custom post types by default. This help box is actually just an advertisement for pro features. Terribly mislabelled, and had our client quite confused as he was trying to modify something on the front end, and that advertisement was telling him to get some other plugin to do so. Luckily you can turn this off, but this really shouldn't be allowed on wordpress.org plugins.
2) There's a lot of out-of-place links, like under the list of custom fields. It's just ugly and monstrous, and could easily be placed into the "Help" tab in the top right.
3) After an update, there is a message that says verbatim: "Types settings that were saved with the older version of Types may not import all the data." This is really off-putting, even if it doesn't affect me. I don't want to lose data, and I've lost my faith in this plugin because of this verbiage. Wow.
4) The menus are very wordy and redundant. You have "Custom Post Types" and "Custom Taxonomies" and "Custom Fields" and "Custom Field Controls". I get it, they are custom. Why not just remove the word Custom? The Types menu is the longest one on our website's dashboard, and it really doesn't need to be.
Overall the plugin is really useful. But I got one problem.
I had add 'Children' in a parent. Both the parent and child have featured image. I am not able to set the featured image of the parent.
Please check on.
Je l'utilise sur tous mes sites. Merci
I can't see my fields and I can't find a help for can see that with API
It doesn't get any easier than this! I just wish there were more options for removing the post type from the URL.
best plugin for creating custom post type and custom taxonomy.
