Triggers a fatal error during activation
By , for WP 4.1.1

I wanted to switch from Tweetily to Revive Old Post. But I cannot even test the plugin, as WordPress wont let me activate the plugin and gives me this error message: "Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error."

This is not very reassuring and I will delete this plugin and stick with Tweetily.

Constantly Breaks - Avoid
By , for WP 4.1

This plugin has consistently become less and less reliable. Do a search in the Support Forum and see how many times people post that it does not work.

I'm not making this up. Must now be the most unreliable plugin on WordPress.

plugin does not work properly
By , for WP 4.0

The old version tweet old post was great. Conversion to revive old post did not work so great, but still worked. The latest version is terrible. Having endless problems. Does not retweet at all, ignores your setting. Hate it. Please go back to what worked.

I loved "Tweet Old Posts"

But this attempt to monetize it without actually thinking it through is insulting. Nothing works on the free version, and as a result, it shouldn't even be in the codex.
Major problems:

  • Won't send updates to twitter
  • No way of setting timing for posts
  • Doesn't allow integration of any other features to make it actually work without paying for it...

Again, this should be removed from the codex unless it actually works in the free version. Someone got too greedy to check his work.

Used to be good

just keeps re-posting the same thing over and over

Useful but with frequent bugs
By , for WP 3.9.1

This is a useful plugin but it gives frequent bugs, the latest one is:

"You have tried to post more tweets that they are available, try to include more categories or increase the date range"

Doesnt' work

Used to work really well. Doesn't work at all now. Bummer!

Plugin no longer works, support was worthless
By , for WP 3.9.1

I really like this plugin. Loved the fact that the Pro version would allow for image upload. But during this latest change to "Revive", the plugin spits out WP-Cron errors all of a sudden. WP-Cron working fine for other things. Tried to contact the company, since I did purchase the pro version. Would not even acknowledge there was a problem, despite the fact that other people have reported the same problem since the upgrade. Was told "we did not touch the WP-Cron functionality". Well, that is great, but you certainly did touch something that affected how the plugin tweets and, I don't know, let me throw another possibility out there, it might be spitting out an erroneous WP-Cron error. Just saying.

Very disappointed. Was a great plugin, now it is broken for some people, for some reason. And buying the Pro version will get you nothing apparently. I was not even looking for a fix. Just at least a "hey, you know maybe there is an issue since you are not the only one to report this. We'll look into that."

Doesn't Link to My Site.
By , for WP 3.9.1

It no longer adds a link to my post. No need to be tweeting old posts if they don't link to my site. Tech Support tried to help, but their fix didn't resolve the issue.

Please Fix! This plugin is worthless without links to my site.
