Show off what your customers are saying about your business and how great they say you are, using our shortcode, widget or template tag.
Being able to rotate testimonials like a slider in the widget would be excellent addition.
This plugin is very good for what i needed! No complication very easy! I have woothemes as my wordpress theme.
Working greats, i really like this.
No testimonial rotation in widget
No limit on words / character - all or nothing
No excerpt support
No pagination on shortcode pages
Lack of features render this plugin virtually useless - I can't think of any way to implement it effectively out of the box on a modern website.
Suspect all the super enthusiastic ratings are from people who have either never used a wordpress plug in before and are happy with "hello world" or work for the developer.
If no stars was an option that's what I'd give it. Really disappointing - don't waste your time like I did!
I love WooThemes, but why does this plugin create a custom post type, and over-write the page loops it's embedded on? It basically turns a page into a content archive, which kinda defeats the purpose of having a page.
If you want custom post types, use this plugin. If you want small snippets that can be embedded into a page, widget, etc., I'd look elsewhere (e.g. the Testimonials Widget plugin).
This plugin is well coded and supported. It has just enough features to be effective, and my company has now been using it as our go-to plugin for testimonials.
There's not enough control for this to be a perfect solution vs the alternative ones. We need a way to show small excerpts vs the larger custom post type. Link control would also be beneficial.
The best Plugin for showing testimonials in WooThemes.
Being able to rotate in the widget would be excellent and also being able to add a link to the end of the widget to view all testimonials.
Also choice of using the full testimonial or an excerpt would be handy too.
Otherwise it's a great, simple plugin to use and LOVE the fact that I don't have to override the styles, although surely an option to enable/disable an included stylesheet (like WooComm) does would be a benefit to those looking for an out of the box solution.
This is a too simple plugin. It just make a custom post type.
...Which could still be useful at times - had the output not been invisible on the page. Broken!
