Good responsive slider but settings keep changing back...
By , for WP 4.1

Good responsive slider, easy to set up... but settings keep changing back from what I set and I have to save them again. For example the avatar image keeps coming back if I change another setting so I have to change that setting again. Layout is not customisable but can be changed with CSS.

Meets all my needs with very little CSS to tweak it

This has pretty much everything I needed for Testimonials on my client's site. Being able to have more than one per page, create different sets, use categories as well as recent in shortcodes makes it easy and robust. I was able to custom design what will show in the widget sidebar versus the in page or post use. I can link from a read more link to a full page of all the testimonials I want visitors to note.

The only thing I would like is to be able to hide the "by" more easily or at least stack it vertically above or below the content for sidebar widget set use. I had to use CSS to accomplish this. Oh, and I would also like to show or hide the title.

Thanks for a thoughtful plugin.

Really frustrating to customise
By , for WP 4.0.1

I used this for a client website. I designed the site and with it in based strongly on the way it looks on SliderVillas own website, assuming it would be easy to customise to look like that example. So awkward.
If you want to use their default buttons and styes that's fine, but bespoke customisations are difficult. I had to edit plugin files, so have had to fix the version number to one way in the future so my client won't update it. If I had time, I would rebuild with another plugin, but unfortunately I'm stuck with this.
Also the interface is not very intuitive.
I won't use it again, but it might be ok for those not to fussed about its appearance.

Not responsive

The settings only allow for a fixed pixel height. This means that on smaller screens the bottom of the testimonial is cut off.

Perfect for free

I needed help by implementing the plugin in the Divi theme within a column. Thanks to the friendly people by Vila, I have yet a beautiful testimonial slider which suits perfectly within my theme of divi (elegant themes). Top!

I found this easy to use

I found this quite easy to use, put your settings in the go to 'testimonials' add new, gives the CSS output which you can add to your style sheet and add styles. I will be using is again, a great plugin.
