Too expensive
By , for WP 4.4.1

I'm sure Swiftype is a good service but I think it's overpriced.
Their PRO plan is good for nothing as all the goodies are for the Business plan which will cost you 249 $ per month
I pay that much for my VPS.

Too expensive compared to alternatives

There are great alternatives with lower price.

very useful.. :)

Breaks pagination of search results
By , for WP 4.1

I really like some of the features of this plugin (mostly the dropdown of suggested pages while typing in the search box), but the fact that it pretty much makes it impossible to use pagination in search results makes it a deal-breaker. There are some workarounds to limit the number of posts displayed on the results page, but the pagination links don't work correctly while using this plugin.

This Thing Beats The Pants Off of WordPress' Default Search
By , for WP 4.0

Swiftype is an excellent replacement to the default search in WordPress. One of my favorite features is the auto suggest when typing a few characters. Generally, it always has the post I'm looking for in the first three suggested links.

If you're looking for something way better than the default search in WordPress, give Swiftype a try.

Dynamic plugin

Been testing out the plugin, and is a really dynamic tool for increased searches on your site.

Thanks a lot for this nice search-plugin

Do not install until you read this!!!
By , for WP 3.5.2

This plugin works great for small websites. For large websites with over 10,000 posts, they charge $179 per month. There is no indication of the fee until when you install the plugin. A few weeks later an agent will send you an email telling you to pay up or stop using the plugin. This should have been mentioned during installation.

Another example of freemium software using misleading tactics to ramp up business. Some sort of mention of the fees should have been included on the WordPress.org page.

Work greate.
