After recovering from a major site hack 3 weeks ago and experiencing continuing attacks form specific sources I signed up for a Securi account after trying multiple different malware plugins and taking other measures recommended by webhost and others here. So far, this is the only thing that has worked for us.
I try to install and activate this plugin and I have this message: Plugin file does not exist.
Whats the problem? Can you help me..?
WordPress multisite is now supported thanks to the help of the support team, including subdomain installs. Now only for domain mapping ;) The support team is very responsive, Daniel Cid has been very helpful and did try to get domain mapping working but it didn't work quite right. (Hopefully I get the chance to try again, but I am happy they tried) There are kinks here and there, all of which can be resolved with the API for the most part. It is definitely getting better though. I would like to see the ability to change the error pages and use our own HTML and our own email, not Sucuri's. It would be nice if it didn't just stop responding if you're IP is banned as well. I don't want legitimate people who were accidentally banned to think that the site has disappeared, been broken, or not online. I still want them to see the contact information of us so we can get it fixed. They might not be able to get a hold of me if they are blocked. Overall, system is great and I have already recommended it to a few of my friends who have happily signed up and had no problems. Thanks Daniel!
It was really helpful to use it within admin panel without logging on the dashboard.
I tried this plug-in twice, I had all sorts of problems, it slowed down my site, blocked access to legitimate users, and helpdesk was not very responsive even though I was paying 10$ per month. You can get better customer service from the hosting services for less money. I do not recommend this product to anyone.
It's not until you actually install this plugin and try to activate it that you're informed that the plugin is not free. It requires a $9.99/mo paid subscription to activate. I wouldn't have left a negative review if this information was given in advance. No demo, either -- you either have to pay them and hope the software does what it should or uninstall the plugin. Waste of my time.
I know I am a bit biased, but for anyone using our Sucuri CloudProxy WAF (web firewall), this plugin is certainly recommended.
It will allow you to easily manage your settings and see what is being done/protected by it.
